MasalaCafe Store - Cancellation, Returns and Refund Policy 
Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations to the order shall be made before the order is sent for shipping, to claim refund of the paid amount. No cancellation shall be made once the product is being shipped. 
Cancellation of order shall be made with mail with Subject: “Cancellation Request” and sent to info@masalacafe.store and the email shall contain complete details of the purchase order such as date of order, details of the ordered items, amount paid, payment details, order id and cancellation reason. 
Cancellation shall be initiated after formal order cancellation request is received at info@masalacafe.store and the appropriate refund amount, after deduction of bank charges if any will be credited in to the same credit card account or debit card / bank account from where it’s deducted within 7 to 10 days, the payment gateway will transfer the amount back to your credit card or debit card / bank account. 
MasalaCafe shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for Products listed in the Website at an incorrect price, rebate or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. Masala Café shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and has been charged. In such a case the appropriate refund amount, after deduction of bank charges if any will be credited in to the same debit card / bank account or credit card account from where it’s deducted within 7 to 10 days, the payment gateway will transfer the amount back to your debit card / bank account or credit card account.  
Returns policy 
Thank you for shopping at MasalaCafe! 
As we are primarily selling masala products, we are reluctant to accept returns. However, we are aware that there are extraordinary situations where returns are unavoidable. Therefore, we accept returns in the following situations: 
If you have attempted to cancel your order by contacting us soon after placing the order, but a cancellation wasn’t possible due to the parcel having already been shipped, you should not accept receipt of the parcel, and ask the courier to send the parcel back to us. We will refund the price of the parcel content whereas you are responsible for paying the shipping cost both ways. 
If, for some reason, an item in your order has been damaged or is spoilt, you will be eligible for a refund or replacement. If the damage is the responsibility of the courier, you must raise a claim with the courier company. If you think the problem was caused by us, you should contact us as soon as possible after 
becoming aware of the problem. In such cases, we may require you to send the item back. You will receive a refund or replacement for the damaged/spoilt item. It is important that you contact us before returning the product(s) so that we are aware that a parcel will be returning and for what reason. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please note that the product should be unused and should be sent back to us along with a copy of the original invoice.  
Please do not send your purchased items back to the manufacturer, we shall not be responsible for refund or replacement, if the returned products is not sent back to us, for whatsoever reason. 
Orders placed using coupon code or promotional offers cannot be returned under any circumstances. 
MasalaCafe reserves the right to reject any return request if the product package is opened or the product looks used. The decision of MasalaCafe regarding return of any product is final and binding.  
Refund Policy

In case of cancellation of your order as per the cancellation policy, the appropriate refund amount, after deduction of bank charges if any will be credited in to the same debit card / bank account or credit card account from where it’s deducted within 7 to 15 days, the payment gateway will transfer the amount back to your debit card / bank account or credit card account. 
In case of return of your order as per the return policy, after the return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and the appropriate refund amount, after deduction of bank charges if any will be credited in to the same debit card / bank account or credit card account or original method of payment, within 7 to 15 days. 
Refund shall be made under following conditions 1) Order was cancelled or return approved and 2) Order was not delivered to the recipient. 
Late or missing refunds: If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 
We request you to ensure that while returning the items they need to be packed properly so that the original packing of the product is not damaged while they are in transit. Please note that the product should be unused and should be sent back along with a copy of the original invoice.                       
MasalaCafe - Shipping Policy 
Shipping Policy 
We will arrange for shipment of the products to you. Purchases are shipped from our own stores in India. Our objective is to make the products reach you within 1-10 Business days from receipt of order depending on the address for delivery. 
Order Processing 
Once our system processes your order, your products are inspected thoroughly to ensure they are in a perfect condition. 
After they pass through the final round of quality check, they are packed and handed over to our trusted delivery partner. 
Our delivery partners then bring the package to you at the earliest possibility. In case, they are unable to reach the address you provided or at a suitable time, they will contact you to resolve the issue. 
Packaging 
We package our products in boxes, which are covered in a plastic layer. Each individual product is packaged in bubble wrap while fragile items like bottles are safely secured with additional bubble wrap. We ensure good quality packaging, as per the instructions of the shipping partners. 
Shipping Locations 
MasalaCafe ships throughout India! Our website will provide updated information when we add more countries to our shipping locations. 
Shipment Tracking 
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered email and phone number. As we prepare and ship your order within 24 hours of the confirmation, you can then check the status of your package through the 'Track' button on the 'My Orders' section. 
Estimated Delivery Time: 
We usually dispatch most orders within 1-3 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays) 
Though, we keep most of our products in our inventory, certain products need to be sourced directly from the brand itself so that we can live up to our promise of providing fresh and non-expired products. While we are trying our best to avoid this situation, these products sometimes might delay your order. 
Shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume, type and other considerations. The shipping and handling charges are given at the time of check out and consumers will 
know about this before confirming the order. Currently, for all the orders to be delivered to your address in India, shipping charge of Rs. 70/- (Rupees seventy only) will be applicable. 
Shipping outside India 
We are working on starting international delivery to many countries; we will keep you updated on this! 
Other Shipping Terms  
Shipping schedules are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays in the shipments. Title and risk of loss and damages pass on to you upon the products delivery to you. Order deliveries will be made by third party courier and logistics companies or Postal Services usually between 7 am – 7 pm Monday – Sunday. However you are also advised to check the shipping and delivery partner terms and conditions. 
Goods will need to be signed for upon delivery. We take no responsibility for goods signed by an alternative person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of delivery of the order. We are not responsible for damage of products after delivery if the package has been already opened by you. 
All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to us on the same day of delivery through our email info@masalacafe.store or mail to the ‘Contact us’ address given on the website. Also the said shortage of goods needs to be highlighted and signed on the Proof of delivery copy and returned to the delivery person of the Shipping Partner.
